Instructions
Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow to preheat.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain thoroughly.
In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add softened cream cheese and milk, whisking continuously until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Whisk to incorporate evenly.
Return drained macaroni to the pot, stirring thoroughly to coat each piece with the creamy sauce.
Gradually add shredded cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, and grated parmesan. Stir continuously until all cheeses are melted and the mixture is cohesive.
Spoon the cheesy macaroni mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
Place baking dish uncovered in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the surface is golden and bubbling.
Remove from oven and allow to cool for several minutes before serving while hot.
