Baba’s Fluffy Oladi Pancakes (Ukrainian)
Description
Fluffy Ukrainian pancakes, or oladi, are crispy around the edges and soft and delicious in the middle. They are my new favorite breakfast recipe from the cookbook Natasha’s Kitchen*
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Water, warmed to 115°F
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 Large Egg, room temperature
2 Tablespoons Extra-light Olive Oil, or vegetable oil, plus more for the pan
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Instant Yeast
1 1/4 teaspoons Fine Sea Salt
2 3/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
Honey, Real Maple Syrup, Raspberry Sauce or Jam
