Moist, flavorful, and rich in dried fruits and nuts , this homemade fruitcake is perfect for parties or social gatherings. Naturally sweetened with a hint of citrus, it’s a nostalgic pastry that’s sure to be a hit!

 Ingredients

  • 1½ cups (190 g) all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup (100 g) of cassonade

  • ½ cup (115 g) melted butter

  • eggs

  • ½ cup (120 ml) orange juice

  • 1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon of salt

  • 1 cup (150 g) chopped dried fruit (figs, dates, raisins, cherries)

  • ½ cup (75 g) chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
