Stir-Fried Pork and Mushroom Recipe
Ingredients:
– For the Pork:
– 1 lb pork loin, thinly sliced against the grain
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp cornstarch
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
– For the Stir-fry:
– 1 tbsp vegetable oil
– 1 lb mixed mushrooms (oyster, shiitake, or your preference), cleaned and sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1-2 green chilies, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
– 1-2 red chilies, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, but adds umami)
– 1 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry (optional)
– 1 tsp sugar
– 1/4 cup water or broth
– Garnish: Chopped scallions
